Please help my FIP Dry Neuro cat - Sato
RM 2,700 raisedFundraiser
Greetings everyone, I am Hillary and I am hereby to raise a fund for my cat who unfortunately infected FIP - Sato. Her condition is dry neuro and it is found after spaying her on the 5th of November 2021.
Sato was born on the 5th of March 2021, and her rescuer claimed she is an active, clever, and stubborn little girl. She got FPV before when she's almost 2 months old. We thought she wouldn't be able to make it but she survived. I adopted her from Nibong Tebal, Penang on the 3rd of May and she was tiny like a brown sugar ball and she likes to eat.
Mealtime and nighttime are her happiest moments. Maybe she was an FPV survivor so she gets flu very often and is very scared of cold weather. She would hide under my blanket whenever she feels cold. We also noticed her body isn't growing much as other cats I adopted, and her weight is always hanging around 1.7kg to 2kg, which is why she is only able to get her spaying on her 8 months old.
Yet this seems to be protective action that has made me regret it. She can't stand, she can't walk properly and she can't control her pee and poo after the spaying. Sato is also eating less because her condition limited her usual activity. I have contacted the doctor who spayed her and he only says it's probable the anesthesia hasn't worn off or she feels pain.
On the third day I call for the vet clinic but what I got told is that Sato's condition has too many possibilities and that I should keep monitoring her situation till a week after the spay. I did... and it's worsened. Her weight dropped to 1.3kg on the 10th day. I basically called to make an appointment for her consultation at least 8 vet clinics, however, some don't pick up the phone some are closed or the earliest appointment is on another week. Found a vet, at last, went there, took a blood test for Sato, and surprisingly the result is drastic.
First, the vet says Sato's blood cells are very low, and her kidneys are affected due to her lack of food and water consumption. Then the vet explained to me it is FIP that caused her nerve to have errors. Then he introduced me to a website called Basmi Fip to purchase the treatment supply named GS-441524 for Sato's condition. I also post about her story on Facebook and realized a lot of FIP parents also had used this supply to cure their felines.
Now that I have the source to get the cure, the only problem left is the money to purchase it. According to experienced FIP parents and also BasmiFIP, Sato needed to estimate 6 vials for her dosage, preferably with vitamin B12 since she has anemia too in her blood test. 1 vial is 7ml and it costs RM450. Dear Sato, please stay well until I raise enough for your cure.
Thank you for reading such long paragraphs. Thank you to those who have shared their experiences and knowledge with me and thank you Basmi FIP to have the cure. Thank you Kitafund for allowing me to apply to this campaign.
YOUR DONATION WILL HELP
a) GS441524 20mg RM450 x 6 vials = RM2,700
TOTAL KINDNESS NEEDED = RM2,700
