Viruses, just like love and care, move between us. COVID 19 is a respiratory illness by a new virus which is now spreading way faster than expected globally. As the number of infected persons increasing day by day, Restrictive Movement Order has been announced by Malaysian Government from 18th to 31st March. This step is hoped to control and curb the spreading of coronavirus through social distancing. Rakyat are requested to stay home and only leave the house for essentials services.
As this move is much needed and could greatly flatten the coronavirus curve – there is a segment of the population who are deeply impacted. During this difficult time, we would like to extend our support to every segment of vulnerable community within our capacity.
Through our existing grassroots presence we have identified the following target groups potentially at high risk being impacted:
a. B40 group suffering from low wages and dependent on daily wage
b. The Malaysian elderly population (comprising about 2.83 million out of 31 million total Malaysia population - Department of Statistics, Malaysia, 2015) with many left stranded without their paid for support system and their usual access to prescribed medications
c. Front liners assisting to curb the pandemic
d. Documented and undocumented foreign communities in Malaysia
e. Other unlisted vulnerable groups
The coalition aims to support the above target groups to provide with the following assistance:
1. Careline support to inquire doubts and latest update on the pandemic
2. Food and grocery aid
3. Replenish prescribed medicines
4. Support for any other emergency needs
If you know of any vulnerable communities in need, contact us through the hotline numbers: 012-2058703 (WhatsApp only) | 017-7803054. All help or support will only be provided upon verification to ensure trust and necessity.

Our grocery aid amounts to roughly RM 140 per household and consists of rice (beras), cooking oil, sugar, condensed milk, flour, mee hoon, sardines, biscuits, tea, curry mix, dhal and/or any other necessary medical needs.
In line with our commitment to the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of leaving no one behind, this assistance is hoped to elevate some of the B40’s struggle and other vulnerable members to meet their essential needs during this difficult period.
With the Prime Minister’s announcement of Movement Control Order (MCO) extension to 14th April 2020, we were overwhelmed with non-stop calls of individuals seeking assistance. We have spent over 70% of our emergency fund and to address the needs of the people we have already assisted and the new wave of vulnerable communities, we need your kind assistance to raise more funds.
RM 140 can feed a household of 4 for more than a week. Help us further support at least 400 families in need in these hard times. Thank you for reaching out.
